For my study I am primarily focussing on how sunlight might be factor playing role in lichen growth. The ecological processes involved here are factors affecting lichen growth like sun exposure, nutrients and water from plants, quality of air and size of the tree.
The ideas that underpin my research project are how trees in North side have heavier proportion of lichen growth in comparison to the trees on the Southern side. But another factor I noticed that might influence the growth could be water present in their surroundings which cannot be ignored. I also noticed one more thing during my study that the size of tree also influences lichen growth.
