Claireville Conservation Area – Observation

The research and observatory area for my studies is Claireville Conservation Area located in Peel Region and Toronto. Claireville Conservation Area covers 848 hectares, and consists of wetlands, valleys, forests, and grasslands. The area was visited on Sunday morning at 11:30 a.m. May 22, 2022. The area of focus for studies will be a small area at the entrance. It was a cloudy day, with drizzle, and temperature of 15°C.

The areas of study will include but not limited observations in the plant species, animals, birds, and insects with the change in temperature and weather conditions.

Only the insects noticed today during the visit were mosquitos, and bird chirpings heard from far. Mostly trees noticed in the area were conifers, and few species of wild grass, and weeds.
