Post 2: Sources of Scientific Information – Taylor Munro

For my second blog post, I chose the article titled, “On dormancy strategies in tardigrades.”

You can find the link to the article here: On dormancy strategies in tardigrades – ScienceDirect

Using “How to evaluate sources of scientific information tutorial,” I would categorize this article as Academic, peer-reviewed review material. I would classify this article as this type of information because the article is written by three experts in the field, it contains a bibliography, it was published in a textbook (which was reviewed before publishing), but does not contain a hypothesis and results section. It instead discusses dormancy strategies already known in tardigrades.
