Design Reflections for Effect of Ambient Temperature on Bird Activity

A few reflections brought insight into what might have been changed in the replication of this study.

Initial point count observations were made over the course of an hour, which may have lead to redundant counts of species. Increasing the number of observations is always helpful, and I chose to increase observation numbers with a shorter observation period, which would be consistent in the recreation of the study.

Furthermore, although having several observations, it was over the span of a couple of months, which has some interest in changing species richness and temperature variation, but may have increased the number of variables with migration, increase in offspring, and other factors that are difficult to predict and calculate.
