Design Reflections: Data Collection at Grenadier Pond

I did not have any significant difficulties implementing my sampling strategy. I measured out 5 transects (5 m each in length) at 5 different locations around my site of interest (Grenadier Pond) and within each measured out 5 1 square metre quadrats within which to count the occurrences of invasive phragmites and native cattails. While this unsurprisingly felt redundant and monotonous, it was an efficient, simple, an suitable approach for my experimental question.
