Data Collection at Grenadier Pond

According to my submitted experimental design, I sampled 40 replicates (40 1 square metre quadrats) at the northern and southern ends of Grenadier Pond. Following my stratified random sampling strategy, 10 quadrats had high densities of phragmites, 10 moderate densities of phragmites, 10 low densities of phragmites, and 10 no phragmites. Identifying these categories of quadrats and then counting individual phragmite and cattail densities in these quadrats became boring and highly monotonous, but I feel that I sampled thoroughly and effectively, with no problems. So far, the patterns I am seeing seem to support the prediction that high densities of phragmites are correlated with low densities of cattails due to interspecies competition.
