The data was collected on October 2, 2022. The time was chosen because there are less leaves on the deciduous trees and shrubs due to the onset of fall season, making it easier to take the bird count on the trees in addition to the nest count as well.
The difficulty in implementing the strategy was the identification of the birds of same species, due to no variable marks if it was the repeated birds visiting the site over and over. I will continue with the current plan to sample the data for the next two consecutive Sundays.
