For Small Assignment Submission 5 I created a line graph comparing the presence of native and invasive species. I chose a line graph as I thought it was the most appropriate to illustrate the data. Creating the graph itself was very straightforward as most word processors (including Pages which I use) have graph-building features. As the tutorial describes I did find creating the caption the most difficult portion. In order to communicate the information in the most effective way, determining what information should be labeled within the chart and what information should be within the caption took the majority of the time in producing the table. After working through the Table and Graph tutorial the process was to my expectations. Creating this graph did get me more excited about seeing further data represented in graph format as it will help conceptualize my sample data in a much more solid way. This will be very helpful when writing the final project.
