It describes the relationship to the Department of Biology of the University of Western Ontario, and the Great Lakes Forestry Centre. Thus suggesting an academically, and possible federally funded paper. There are in text references and a reference list in the Reference section of the document. Furthermore, there are received, and accepted dates in the header (Received 15 October 2021; Received in revised form 20 January 2022; Accepted 29 January 2022), indicating that the commentary was peer-reviewed. More-so there is an ‘acknowledgements’ section, where the anonymous referees are listed. Finally, we notice the commentary is supported by a multitude of external research sources and are providing a review of the research to become a better reviewer. Furthermore, there is a methods section describing the way in which the research was conducted, and results based on quantitative/qualitative data collected. Thus the paper represents an academic, peer-reviewed, research source.
