After reading through and reviewing this paper, I have determined it is academic, peer-reviewed research material. This article is written by multiple authors who are all experts in the field, the paper contained many in-text citations and included a bibliography at the end of the report. I determined it to be peer-reviewed as it comes from an academic journal, so would have needed to be reviewed before being entered into the journal. It also has a descriptive methods section with various sampling methods that were used in several locations giving a wide range of data. The results included many tables and graphs outlining the data collected from the study. This paper is a good example of a well-written, academic, peer-reviewed paper that is research material.
