Blog Post 9: Reflections

The field experiment I carried out had some difficulties. I did have to make changes in my design from focusing on species richness and diversity to just species richness. The time of  year I chose to do my project may not reflect the true species richness of the area. Engaging in the practice of ecology has broadened my appreciation for how ecological theory has developed. As well as the amount of work it takes to implement one single experiment or hypothesis.
