I decided to do a table for my small assignment submission 5. The first example in the tutorial for making tables and figures was an absence and presence table which I thought would be a good idea in describing the data I collected. In my table, I thought any vegetation with less than 25% coverage would be considered absent. From my 10 replicates, I found the average abundance of each species in each location. It was fairly easy to create my table this way and I also think it was a good choice of doing so because you can easily see the comparisons between species and sampling locations which accurately aids my hypothesis. I would say the table displays an expected outcome since the rivers edge and the highest topography sampling sites share none of the same presences or absences of vegetation but the middle topography shares some of the same presences or absences of the sampling sites.
As with your small assignment, I wonder how 25% can be considered absent? Looking back at your data sheets you had a <10% category and so why are you not using this information?
