post 8: tables and graphs

Since my initial tables and experimental purposes were relatively simple, I didn’t have too many difficulties when I made the graphs. But I think my data needs to be supplemented, maybe just five observations is not enough. I need to record some effective data in the follow-up observation to support my experiment. In the comparison of growth data and temperature, my results are quite satisfactory to me. I hope to get better results in future research to find out what temperature is best for kale to grow.

  1. ok will look for your table/figure in small assignment
    yes following the rule of 10 in Gotelli and Ellison (see tutorial reading on sampling) would indicate base of 10 samples for each stratification used (as noted in feedback)
    not sure what ‘effective data’ might be? note that it isn’t about satisfaction but just about trying to answer the question and prove/disprove the hypothesis – just a note to avoid phrases like this in write-up
