Low summer flows and Chinook salmon productivity

The article I chose is about changes to Chinook salmon productivity in the Nicola River correlated to low summer flows. It turns out that recommended flow rates previously in place are not enough to maintain habitat availability for both returning adults and rearing juveniles.

This article is an academinc,peer-reviewed, research resource as it was written by a grad student as well as other published authors and fisheries biologists, it is from a peer-reviewed journal, Ecological Solutions and Evidence (they actually promote senior reviewers to collaborate with junior reviewers to pass the knowledge on quickly – similar to what our previous reading was suggesting [BES, n.d.]), and it is considered research as it findings from a field study/data analysis.
