Large formations of fossiliferous limestone with iron oxidation surround the permitter, small areas of few areas with vegetations such as cattails surrounding small bodies of water. Birds (perhaps red wing black birds) actively singing in trees and communicating actively with one another. Moments where I would approach the birds closer I notice their song would change. The location is somewhat hidden in a rural town.
Questions:
1: Do any any animals utilize the limestone as shelter.
2: What organisms are present in the aquatic environment.
3: What species of birds is this ecosystem home to.
