I plan to study the bird species present in chosen locations near Esquimalt Lagoon, and predict that there will be variation in bird species present depending on the time of day.
Data was collected two months previously hence it being dated in May, but it clearly shows variation in bird species between the sites. Since I have narrowed it down to wanting to study the effects of different times of day, I would include that better in my replicate and go spend approx. 15 minutes in each of the four locations within the same area.
One potential response variable would be different bird species present during one part of the day such as morning with fewer spotted later in the day in the sites. Potential explanatory variable could be temperature differential with certain bird species capable of withstanding greater temperatures compared to others.
