Blog Post 5: Design Reflections
- Create a blog post to discuss the collection of the initial data in Module 3. Did you have any difficulties in implementing your sampling strategy? If yes, what were these difficulties? Was the data that you collected surprising in any way? Do you plan to continue to collect data using the same technique, or do you need to modify your approach? If you will modify your approach, explain briefly how you think your modification will improve your research.
It was difficult to firstly to choose a strategy to collect initial data, but after reading into other studies I decided on using systematic sampling strategy. I will use a mixture of systematic sampling as it will be more easily adapted to my study area. I plan to continue using this sampling technique. I also plan to use a transect of 20m after doing research on other scientific articles which related my study.
