Final report Reflection

The findings of the study confirm the anticipated influence of elevation on species abundance, likely driven by the shifts in climatic conditions along with type of soil associated with varying elevations. The decline in Red Elderberry and Thimbleberry abundance as elevations increase is noteworthy , which suggests a nuanced response to factors such as temperature, precipitation, and soil properties. The intriguing consistency in the abundance of Kinnikinnick and Redbane berries across elevations implies a potentially wider range of elevation tolerance and  the existence of specialized ecological niches that accommodate these species. This observation also seem to raise interesting questions about the unique adaptive strategies of these species.
