The area of study is located in the neighbourhood of River Heights in Winnipeg Manitoba (Canada). It is currently fall season in this location.
The size is roughly 1500 square feet and the topography is flat. The vegetation includes trees and ornamental plants and shrubs. The designation would be considered a private back yard. The site was visited at 1pm on September 19th and it was 25 degrees Celsius.
Three questions of interest I could turn into a research project include:
- The ecosystem of the pine tree (soil type, insects, wild life, surrounding vegetation, etc.)
- The ecosystem of the wild cherry tree(soil type, insects, wild life, surrounding vegetation, etc.)
- The ecosystem of the Manitoba maple tree (soil type, insects, wild life, surrounding vegetation, etc.)
