Did you have any difficulties in implementing your sampling strategy? If yes, what were these difficulties?
The difficulty I have is that I have a hard time measuring the growth rate of the plant. This requires a long period of observation and recording. I can only briefly collect the hardness of the plant itself. This is very easy data to collect. In order not to harm their growth. I’m just shaking the branches to estimate the stiffness. I’ve divided them into five levels. Estimates of growth rates are difficult to pinpoint because they require a long time span.
Was the data that you collected surprising in any way?
The data collected were not surprising, and the hardness of the plant itself was higher in the presence of a climber than in the absence of a climber. That’s consistent with my hypothesis.
Do you plan to continue to collect data using the same technique, or do you need to modify your approach? If you will modify your approach, explain briefly how you think your modification will improve your research.
I will continue to use the same method, but I may try to get an estimate of their growth rate by observing and sampling them for a short period of time.
