How many replicates did you sample?
Since I have 4 treatment areas in total, I sampled 10 replicates per gradientÂ
Have you had any problems implementing your sampling design?
One of the issues was ensuring a balanced representation of olive and lemon trees in each location, especially considering their varying growth patterns. Also obtaining accurate measurements of the tree sizes proved to be a bit more challenging due to the dense foliage in some areas but addressed this carefully by selecting specific branches for measurements.
Have you noticed any ancillary patterns that make you reflect on your hypothesis?
In the locations with ample sunlight, I observed more vigorous growth and higher fruit production in both olive and lemons trees. Therefore, it aligns with the hypothesis that sunlight exposure plays a significant role in tree growth
It sounds like the tree is your sample unit and your individual fruit measurements are like sub-samples.
