Post 2: Peer-Reviewed, Academic Research Material

The source of literature I have chosen is a piece of academic, peer-reviewed research material. This research article investigates the changes in land plant species resulting from wildfires and how these changes impact the diets and nesting patterns of Golden Eagles.

I determined this article to be a piece of academic material because:

  1. It was written by Julie Health who is an expert in the field, with her Ph.D. in wildlife ecology conservation.
  2. It contains in-text citations
  3. And because it has a bibliography

Additionally, due to the anonymous reviewer who was mentioned in the acknowledgements section, this article is peer-reviewed.
Lastly, this article contains both a methods section and a results section where all appropriate results are reported.

I’ve also included the citation for this article, but this is my first time using ESA, so hopefully it is formatted correctly.
