Most common species:
Eastern Hemlock percentage error:
- systematic: 7%
- Random: 14.9%
- haphazard: 0%
Sweet birch percentage error:
- systematic: 39.7%
- Random: 32%
- Haphazard: 26.8%
rarest species:
White pine:
- Systematic: 110.7%
- Random: 100%
- Haphazard: 100%
Striped Maple:
- Systematic: 100%
- Random: 100%
- Haphazard: 100%
according to these statistics, accuracy increases with species abundance and the most accurate sampling technique seems to be the haphazard. But there is no significant change in the different sampling techniques.
You don’t have much in terms of comments on these data. I am surprised to see 100% error for both rarest species for all techniques. I have never seen the exact same numbers for all show up before.
