I used a systematic sampling technique while collecting the data for module 3. my goal was to cover all elevational zones and microhabitats. the general configuration went smoothly but a few issues arose.
Terrain Difficulties: Navigating across the alpine meadows proved more difficult than expected. Because of the rocky terrain and varied surfaces, certain spots were harder to access, perhaps biasing the data towards easier-to-reach locations.
Gal Gwan’s Adaptability: Gal Gwan demonstrated surprising adaptability across elevational gradients. Contrary to popular belief, they were not restricted to certain heights but displayed color and behavior differences dependent on microhabitat features.
Surprising Data Patterns: The gathered data revealed some surprising patterns. In alpine meadows, Gal Gwan, famed for their bright hues at lower levels, presented a more muted palette. This unanticipated variety shows remarkable flexibility in a wide range of habitats, defying long-held beliefs about their habitat preferences. despite of challenges, I plan to continue with the systematic sampling strategy.
