I experienced two significant challenges when organizing the data and creating a meaningful table. The first challenge was selecting a visualization tool to communicate the information effectively. I was in a dilemma between a bar graph and a pie chart. However, after much deliberation, I selected a bar graph to show the difference in the population of wasps at different times when I collected the data. The second challenge was dealing with the missing values and the outliers. In this case, the outliers made getting a meaningful graph challenging. Outliers plotting a graph could result in meaningless outcomes because the extreme values affect the shape and the distribution of data. As a result, I had to go back to the field and recapture the data to ensure that the graphs would result in some meaningful information. Nevertheless, the process was fulfilling, and I learned through it. I believe I will be more effective in my next research.
