Blog 4 : Sampling strategies

The sampling strategy is a method that has helped in identifying the population and further determines the best process to select a sample from a group. The three sampling strategies that were used in this study are the selection of the kind of land, types of animals and the different types of plots. A rarefaction sampling strategy has been used in this study that has helped in selecting the different types of plots, animals and cover lands within a specific area. The classified types of land are fen and ridge areas.
