My research project is focused on the effects of backyard gardening on wildlife sustainability. I will discuss that relationship and interconnectedness between humans and wildlife, and the essential dependence we have on one another. Ensuring wildlife sustainability also ensures human life sustainability for the future. Backyard Gardening is not only beneficial for our physical health, but our mental and emotional health as well. When we pair that with the compassion and caring for wildlife sustainability, we can create a deeper, longer-lasting, more effective bond with our environment.
You are also touching on resource availability and generally urban vs rural environments and the differences in resource availability for species. It is ok to talk about the importance of backyard gardening for human health as part of the importance of your study, but you theoretical background and context for your study should be focused on ecology.
