A couple of the challenges I encountered with the research project were that I was collecting too many different species; however, since you suggested that I focus on uplands, marshes, and river banks, it did not pose an issue. I had to modify my hypothesis just a little bit to avoid getting caught up in the details. Another challenge was that some of the data was collected during the winter, when many species were buried under a thick layer of snow. For this reason, it took me longer to collect the supplies I needed for my project. It also harmed and withered other plants, which made it more difficult to count and identify species because some of them were lying flat on the ground instead of standing erect.
