Potential Research Subjects
Based on my observations, here are three intriguing questions that could form the basis of a research project:
- Vegetation Distribution: How does the distribution of deciduous and coniferous trees vary across the west, east, and south sides of the conservation area, and what factors contribute to these patterns?
- Seasonal Changes in Wetland Vegetation: How do the wetland vegetation and wildlife populations change throughout the seasons, and what role does the wetland ecosystem play in supporting biodiversity within the conservation area?
- Human Impact on Conservation Area: What are the effects of human activities, such as hiking, picnicking, and fishing, on the vegetation and overall ecological health of Heart Lake Conservation Area?
