This graph shows the percentage of visits bumblebees made to each flower colour. Of the 200 visits observed, 38% were to yellow-coloured flowers within the transects, while only 10% were visits to white-coloured flowers. With this graph, I can say that in this study, bumblebees preferred yellow flowers to purple, blue, and white flowers. This outcome was surprising as my hypothesis stated that bumblebees preferred blue and purple flowers. This is useful; however, sampling more areas would allow for a larger sample size and provide stronger evidence for a colour preference among bees.
