Field Research Project: Table/Graphs

I had difficulty organizing the data points as I wasn’t sure what type of figure I wanted to create in this bird feeder preference study. Two bird feeders were placed  4.2 ft away from a privet hedge and 17.8 ft away. Observations were taken 3 times a day, for 15 minutes, over 14 days. Weather conditions were included at each observation.  There were multiple data points, and I wasn’t sure if I should include the timeframes in the figure. My hypothesis focused on bird feeder preference, rather than the time of day they prefer to feed. Therefore I left the timeframes and weather patterns out of the figure. The outcome of my data was expected. After completing this assignment, it gave me ideas for future exploration if the birds had a specific time of day that they preferred to feed. As well, as how weather conditions may have been a factored in bird feeder preference for the birds.
