I’ve chosen a city park as my study location, the coordinates are 49.94157N, 97.10268W. This city park is approximately 96 acres in size. It features a witches hut, open grassy areas, scattered trees and several paths with benches along the paths. There’s also a pond by the witch’s hut, with a river on one end of the park, and a golf course at the opposite side.
The park has a good mix of native trees, shrubs and patchy areas with mostly flat topography. The weather was cloudy and roughly 10 degree celcius in temperature.
Pictures were taken of this park on October 10, 2024
Potential questions and subjects:
- What is the relationship between water quality and biodiversity of aquatic life?
- How will the abundance of bird species change as it’s getting colder? (it may snow soon)
- How does foot traffic influence soil quality and plant diversity?
Hi, great study site and potential questions!
