I have gained a lot throughout the process of designing and implementing the field research project. Initially, I did encounter some difficulties in implementing my design so I had to change my data collection methods to be able to complete my study. This process allowed me to explore more sampling strategies. It was really rewarding to see the results of my study come out and support my hypothesis.
Engaging in the project has made me appreciate my surroundings much more. Starting from the initial observations, I was able to find out that there are many natural ecosystems present around me which I have walked past and have not appreciated. This also made me appreciate researchers who engage in ecological studies and the importance of the work they do.
