Post 8: Tables and Graphs

Creating graphs from my bird observation data was a bit challenging. My data spread  across multiple days and locations and it required a lot of organization to ensure clarity. I used a bar graph showing overall species counts at each site. This made the patterns more clear. The outcome did somewhat align with my hypothesis that the areas with dense vegetation, like the bush, would show higher bird counts, while open fields had fewer. However, I didn’t expect the garden to occasionally have higher counts than the bush area in species like sparrows. This outcome could be due to the mild winter and lack of snow we have had. There could be an increased attraction to that environment type potentially beaches this area is still  an easy food source. I am planning on adding temperature into my data and using that for further exploration.
