I summarized my field data into a table and configured it a few different ways until I landed on grouping both the North transects together and the South transects together rather than grouping by site. This way you can more easily compare all the north areas to the south areas.
My data actually are different than what I hypothesized as the North facing transects actually have better vegetation cover than the South. This could be that the South area gets stronger winds or that some shading is actually better for the plants. This is supported by the research I found during my Annotated Bibliogrpahy.
