Through my theory I am trying to explore ecological processes underlying how environmental factors such as habitat composition ad anthropogenic disturbances, shape behaviour of the species.
When we see, chickadees select the habitat that maximize their access to resources and protection from their predators. Vegetation type plays a significant role in this and influences them. Presence of human activity also either modifies or disrupts the behaviour. Such as areas of high human activity can provide ample of food source but also may cause a predation risk.
The three keywords I would like to use in my research paper are:
- Habitat selection
- Cashing behaviour
- Human activity
