The data collection of this study uses a fixed-point observation method, and a fixed observation point is set up in the three different habitat types of King Park – wetlands, shore forests and low-shrub forests. Each observation point is located at the center of the represented habitat, spaced about 70–75 meters away from each other to reduce interference and repetitive counts of bird activity between different points.
