I would like to emphasize the major shortcomings of this experiment here. First, only one observation point is set up for each habitat, and the sample space is poorly representative and it is difficult to capture small-scale differences within the habitat. Second, despite the five-day observation span, the main statistical periods are focused only on 11:00 pm and 13:00 pm, failing to cover the active peaks of birds in the early morning or dusk, which may underestimate the true frequency of occurrence of some species. In addition, the distance between observation points is only 230 meters, and birds may move across points in a short period of time, resulting in potential duplicate recording and data non-independence. At the same time, the size of the observed samples of some species is too small, which limits the significance and explanatory power of the statistical analysis.
