How to Identify Grasses & Grasslike Plants by H. D. Harrington

It’s time to finally crack open a book I thought I’d never use, which my coworker gave me because I collected and planted sedge seeds a few times.

How to Identify Grasses & Grasslike Plants by H. D. Harrington is a fascinating dive into every last excruciating detail of grass, sedge, and rush  morphology, and includes detailed information about best practices for collecting and processing samples from the field.

This book is considered a non-academic source acprding to the guidelines set out by the module 1 tutorial. It was written by an expert in his field, employed by a university, who was considered the leading authority on Colorado botany and made many important contributions to the field. However, there are no in-text citations and there is not even a bibliography.
