I went back to Father Hennepin Park on July 2, 2022 at 4 pm to continue my data collection. The weather was sunny and 29 C.
I collected another 5 replicates at each level of disturbance. I kept my sampling technique the same, recording all the birds that I saw within a 5 minute period in each designated zone. I have not had any problems implementing my sampling design so far. Once again, the area with the most human disturbance had the least number of individual bird and species for most of the samples.

Glad to hear things are going well, Isaac!
If your sampling technique is remaining the same and getting you the relevant data, you are probably doing something right. It will be good for consistency in the long run as well.
It’s also good to hear you are collecting more data, as I am finding that is always helpful as well.
Interesting to hear how influencial human disturbance is on bird presence.
Good luck,
Joel
