Blog 1: Observations in a backyard Smithers, BC

Observations for this study were made in my own backyard in Smithers, British Columbia. The space is approximately 250 m2 and consists of hedges, garden boxes, berry bushes, crush gravel and a small lawn.  My neighbours yard has a large deciduous tree with several bird feeders which are clearly visible from my yard. The temperature is unseasonably warm for this time of year.
