Blog Post 2: Sources of Scientific Information

The source I chose is an article called Relationships between flora biodiversity, soil physiochemical properties, and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) diversity in a semi-arid forest. I chose this article because it is based in a semi-arid environment just like my study site.

Mirzaei, J., & Moradi, M. (2017). Relationships between flora biodiversity, soil physiochemical properties, and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) diversity in a semi-arid forest. Plant Ecology and Evolution, 150(2), 151–159. http://www.jstor.org/stable/44945442
The article is academic because it was written by experts in the field, includes in-text citations, and includes references. It is peer-reviewed because it was reviewed by at least one referee. It is also research material because it includes a study with methods, results, and discussion sections.
