How many replicates: I did 18 replicates in total. For each replicate, I count the buds and flowers on an individual plants. The data collection is doing after 4PM when all three groups are not exposed to the sunlight.
problems implementing: No new problem arise. Except those problems I posted in the Blog 5, which are some errors caused by visual counting.
ancillary patterns: I did not find any ancillary patterns so far. However, I’m thinking of if the plants have its optimal duration of exposure to sunlight, how long would it be? This question could possibly be addressed when I do the literature review. But will 9 hours (a treatment level of my predictor variable) too long? If it is too long, then how does the bean plants in this group grow the best?
Make sure you use proper grammar even in your blog posts and this is a key part of the marking in the written paper.
