Field Research Reflections

I had a lot of fun creating the study design and collecting field data. I’m happy I was able to finish the task earlier in July, before it was extremely hot and the plants completely dried up. Besides a few hiccups along the way, I think mostly everything worked out well. Next time, I would make my quadrats circular instead of square to better capture shrubs. I would also hope to create a much more in-depth analysis and hypothesis. I love ecology more than ever!
