Sources of Scientific Information

The source of ecological information I found to classify was a journal article in ScienceDirect. The title of the article and its link are below.

Toxic elements in arctic and sub-arctic brown bears: Blood concentrations of As, Cd, Hg and Pb in relation to diet, age, and human footprint

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0013935123007442#coi0010

The paper is classified as an Academic, peer-reviewed research material for the following reasons:

  • Contains both Methods and Results Sections. The authors completed the data collection, field study, analysis, and methodology.
  • More than one referee reviewed the article.
  • The authors are experts working on the Scandinavian Brown Bear Research Project.
  • Includes in-text citations throughout the article
  • Contains a bibliography with several references to other source information
