Tables and graphs

The one hard part of creating my table was getting an accurate summary. I first tried to create a table with my raw data but it soon became cluttered and required a lot of work to understand. I was then going to create a table that had the # of squares in high flow area with Chara,  # of squares in high flow area that have spirogyra, # of squares in low flow area with Chara and  # of squares in low flow area with spirogyra. The issue that came with this table was I had different total number of squares for high flow and low flow areas. So the comparisons would not be very valuable. So I decided to do the percent of squares in high/low flow area with chara/ spirogyra this way even though the total number of squares are different we can still make accurate comparisons in data.  The one thing that surprised me was there was much more chara in low flow areas than expected. I expected Chara to be limited to high flow areas. I would like to look further into this and see if maybe Spirogyra is limiting Chara’s ability to grow in these low flow areas through competition.
