I made 5 transect lines dividing each into 3 zones based on their distance from the creek and for each zone I made a 10 meter circular plot and counted the number of trees in each plot based on the data collected I made 5 tables and 5 graphs for each transect line. These tables and graphs of each transect line included information from the 3 zones therefore each zone had 5 replicates so a total of 15 replicates. Then I created a final table and graph with combined data from all 5 transect lines. Overall the graphs showed the same trend that I had expected at the beginning of the research project and I didn’t experience any difficulties in creating the tables or in collecting data.
