When I was doing my table, there was not a big challenge, but only at some points. For example, I tried my best to make the table very simple. Therefore, I only wrote one word when I am comparing, but there are situations where I need to explain more to the reader because all my data are observations. I found it difficult to answer in one word. I wanted to add more information to my table, but I really couldn’t add more details and make it simple/organized. The results were not as I expected; there was nothing different, strange, or intrusting to the point where I could find evidence to support my hypotheses. I do not see any effects of changing the soil yet! I am not sure if I will see any as I get to the very end of my research! However, what I realized is that not only one factor affects the plant/grass growth, but many factors. I was thinking of only one factor, but that is not going to work as there are a lot of other effects out there, and I would never know what their effects are on grass. I think to know more information, I must do it by changing more than one thing (soil) and doing a lot more replicates.
I think if you had quantitative measurements of grass growth, it would be easier to interpret your data, which I have recommended from the beginning. Students often have a challenge representing their data when their response variable is categorical. Also, see my comments on your table in your small assignment 5 submission.
