Because I am looking at abundance in plants, I made a bar graph; using total individuals present as my y-axis, with dates being the main header for the x-axis. For each date, a bar representing each planter box with total abundance being represented by each bar. This gave a clear comparison between the boxes over the course of the study but failed to represent much else. I definitely struggled to find the most effective way to represent the data without causing overlap between tables and figures. Ultimately, a table seems most fitting to summarize the bulk of the collected data that I intend on using as represented in my final paper.
Due to the unusual weather during the study period, seeing the responses to severe weather events gives a different perspective on the relationship between abiotic factors, like rocks and twigs, and the organisms living within a community. Protection from wind and evaporation appear to be more relevant to survival rates than previously considered.
